MP3+G is now the common format of choice. Normal karaoke discs (
CDG ) can store approximately 15-20 tracks on one cd as each cdg audio
track is around 40MB.  MP3`s
are a compressed audio format with cd quality sound and are sized
at around 3/4 MB. Similarly, MP3+G is a compressed form of cdg audio
track that contains a song.cdg file and a song.mp3 file which is approximately
4MB.
Therefore, you are able to squeeze alot more songs onto the space of a disc. Also, there is no degradation of the lyrics or audio format. |
